Tendulkar was born in Mumbai and his father, Ramesh Tendulkar who was a Marathi novelist. Ajit Teldulkar the elder brother of Sachin Tendulkar encouraged him to play cricket . The Sharadashram Vidyamandir in Mumbai where he started his cricketing career . At this time he attached with Ramakant Achrekar (Cricket Guru of Sachin Tendulkar). Sachine want to became a fast bowler and also attend MRF Pace Foundation but Australian fast bowler Dennis Lillee are not satisfied with his performance and advice him to more focus on his batting, after that the journey was started.
